Climate at Lake Victoria: Talk in Nuremberg

On Monday I will give a talk about the climate at Lake Victoria, organised by the Society for Natural History (NHG) in Nuremberg., Germany. The Lake is not only an important economic driver (e.g. for fishery and transport) for 30 to 40 million people who live in the Lake Victoria Basin in the five countries of the East African Community. It also influences the regional climate. The talk will take up some of the ideas and information that we discussed last year at the EarthTemp workshop "Surface temperatures in key land areas, with a focus on Africa" in Karlsruhe. The presentation will be held on Monday, 20 April 2015, at 19.30 in Katharinensaal, Nuremberg, Germany.
